One house was destroyed and another severely damaged in a residential fire at 1641 Edwards Drive around 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 8. Three fire trucks from Point Roberts, one from Delta Fire and one from North Whatcom Fire and Rescue Station 61 (Blaine) attended. According to sources in Delta, the B.C. fire truck arrived 10 minutes after receiving the mutual aid request.
