Swim regatta: A generational tradition

Posted

The annual Point Roberts Swimming Regatta was held Aug. 8. The day kicked off with a bike parade where children decorated their bikes. At noon the races started, featuring kids’ races with different age ranges and a masters race. Paddle board and kayak races were also held. The regatta has been held for 70 years. Over 200 people showed up to watch the regatta and hot dogs were served by the Sea Dogs. More photos of the regatta can be viewed at allpointbulletin.com.
