Taxpayers association AGM

Vicki Huntington, Member of B.C.’s Legislative Assembly, Delta South was the guest speaker at the Point Roberts Taxpayers Association annual general meeting on July 27, held at the Compass Rose restaurant at the Point Roberts Marina. Her presentation, The Great Migration, Love it or Lose it, stressed the significance of Delta’s soils and estuaries that support the hundreds of thousands of migratory birds. “This whole area is under threat. Either protect this environment to save the migratory flyway or watch it disappear.”
