Point Roberts Food Bank receives $2,000 check

The Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club delivered a check for $2,000 to the Point Roberts Food Bank to help ease the hardship from the forced isolation of Point Roberts’ residents. Henry Rosenthal, director, makes weekly trips to Thrifty Foods and Save-On-Foods for supplies. The local Lions Club is only one of two clubs worldwide that serves communities in two countries.
