Two important meetings coming up

The Point Roberts Registered Voters Association has invited all primary election contestants to a candidates’ night on Tuesday, July 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the Point Roberts Community Center. Hear from and question individuals running for county executive and more.

Then on Thursday, July 20 from 5-8 p.m., the Point Roberts Taxpayers Association will be holding their annual general meeting at Kiniski’s Reef Tavern & Restaurant. The keynote speaker will be state senator Sharon Shewmake who will hold a Q & A following her prepared remarks. Appetizers and soft beverages will be provided by the association.
