Year in Review: Point Roberts Park and Recreation

Posted

The Point Roberts Park and Recreation District has had an exciting 2025, from a clothing swap to EV chargers, a lot has been accomplished this year.

We would like to thank the Point Roberts community for supporting successful events like the first prom, playground fundraisers, picnic in the park for senior lunch, a Valentine’s extravaganza, the Halloween spooktacular and our holiday weekend which includes a community holiday party.

With funding from the Washington Commerce Department under the Climate Commitment Act and from Puget Sound Energy, four EV chargers (two slow and two fast) were installed at the community center and will be up and running by the end of the year.  A nine-hole disc golf course is being created in Baker Field Park and will be completed in the spring. The kayak and paddleboard program was another great success this year. Kids camp was a month full of messy fun and outdoor activity.

Stop by the community center anytime and see what’s happening!
