The Point Roberts Radio Club has been active the whole of 2025 with weekly radio check-ins every Sunday.
The results of these weekly check-ins have been reported to Whatcom County emergency operation center (EOC) such that Point Roberts remains on the active network reported to Washington State.
The club also supports local Point Roberts Emergency Preparedness (prepgroup.net) and the Community Emergency Response Team (bit.ly/4abBHdn) organizations as well as providing services to Whatcom Fire District No. 5 (wcfd5.com) when requested or required.
Club members participate in local training exercises when able to do so. This year we took part in the DART exercise (evac.org/northwest.htm) and fulfilled a leading role for water operations.
