Point Roberts Registered Voters Association (PRRVA) held both a primary and general election meet the candidates night inviting the community to meet and ask questions of candidates for county and local positions. As always, the community filled the room and not only listened to what the candidates had to say but asked questions important to our community.
We also held our first ever Charter Review educational session to review the extensive number of ballot measures submitted by the Charter Review Committee.
PRRVA is already looking to next year, planning for more meet the candidates’ nights and information sessions on ballot measures that may be on special or general election ballots.
We are also looking forward to our July 2 meeting, when we hope to have a community BBQ.
If you would like to join the voters association, please email: prvotersassoc@gmail.com. The membership fee is $1 per year.
