At a time when Peace on Earth was harder to find, at Trinity Church we leaned on each other a lot and tried to feed each other with joy, music and time together on Sundays. Our services centered around Christ, divine light, love and hope, followed by potlucks.
In February, Trinity welcomed Sydney Morris, a Unitarian Universalist minister to our pastor group. This group included already Martin Pommerenke (Episcopal), Jean Barrington (Lutheran), and Bev Mar (Interfaith Friendly/different forms of spiritual paths), and creative producer, Lucy Williams, who hosts Jazz Vespers (our non-religious service featuring singers Shaune Ann Feuz and Savilla Kress with local speakers which takes place on the fifth Sundays of the month).
Bishop Shelly Bryan Wee of the Northwest Washington Lutheran Synod visited and preached two Sundays in 2025. We were blessed to have musicians flock to our church, besides talented pianists (Jim Murphy, Allison Chu, Amoree Lovell, & Laurie Brown) and instrumentalists (Leah Tinkleman, Jean Lenoir, and Lucy Willams) at our services.
Lucy’s Musical Concerts and Fred Culbert & Crew’s Power of Music delighted. Both the Trinity Community Choir and Bergamasca Consort’s late Spring and Christmas concerts brought cheer while concerts by Gina Zollman and Victor Riley gifted us with original music.
We are delighted that in September, Sydney and Jean began a Children’s Bible Study and Music program open to all kids. It’s on the second Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. Parents and friends join in together for children’s Bible story and song on all the other Tuesdays. We are excited by the creativity of these programs. More good news: in 2026, we expect to proceed with our Sanctuary rebuild.
May the blessings of our Father-Mother God, beloved Jesus, the Christ consciousness, of Maitreya Buddha, the Masters of Wisdom and the Holy Spirit be on you and your family in 2026!
