Five counties on fast track to re-open, Inslee says; curbside retail, landscaping guidance issued

In a televised news conference on May 8, Washington governor Jay Inslee announced that he was issuing guidance for curbside retail and landscaping businesses to re-start.

Inslee also said the state has given five counties approval to begin lifting restrictions ahead of the governor’s statewide, four-phase plan for re-opening. Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln and Pend Oreille counties have been approved to move into the second phase.
